Riffin’ On that Ten-Year Itch

“From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place. But one who attains to My abode, O son of Kunti, never takes birth again.” 8.16 Bhagavad Gita Attaining the Supreme

Existence is existence…persistent…eternal…causal…and in every way looking as it looks on Earth, as well as any other potential planet. Shucking off the mortal form brings no interruption to the very dynamism which inexplicably caused Itself and has been present ever since, by way of the Big Bang we say in this secular-scientific era, a historical ear-marker on what the slow zoom out will most assuredly, and it will probably play out as anti-climatic because of dissatisfaction with the church (I assume, given any time window, as that too is a constant…of the church’s doing), will reveal to be…bunny ears.

Suffering is suffering. In the creation myth relayed in the Bible its implied in what our modern sensibility tends to regard as a vacuum…God alone with himself/impersonal creation. Loneliness leads to His creation of Adam, and subsequently Eve as Adam’s loneliness is His, but it’s implied that Adam was the causal loneliness in the first place (as was Eve), spirit manifest… that spirit is the Infinite bedrock from which the finite spring forth, and that it’s to it that we return… “dust”, but that in a sense of it we’ve always existed even though temporality is a pre-requisite in allowing us to bud off from the Eternal Wave all lifeforms bud off of…everything made will have been a reason for every causal happening yet happened and that will ever be, such is existence, but new things come to exist. Things echo back and substantiate some sort of cryptic mycelium that is still entirely malleable, although it practically isn’t, as it substantiates cold hard objectives, and this is the efficacy of God, manifest, of will effectively filtered through. It’s a participatory institution between Source and Creation.

In the midst of this beautiful institution is an immense amount of confusion…a total lack of perspective (albeit an ineffective one in the face of the dynamism of unfolding circumstance, as well as the social missions in the name of peace and love)… a lot of serious suffering. And how we tend to escape suffering without necessarily leaving anything or anyone behind is to meaningfully manifest the “abode” of Krishna, which as a symbol represents both the place of the internal meditative state/prayer-devotional state, but also too is the society itself, or is a utopian vision of. Practically, modern social structures are perfect, or at least perfect for manifesting compassionate ways of being that effectively tend to creation. These frameworks arose from the labors of previous generations of Man, spiritual Man, to accomplish as much, to overcome the harshness of “nature”. To become better.

To simply realize that the social center is the very dynamism which animates the laws of physics…that all of the cultural materials teach what that inescapable determinism itself also teaches…that a person is a person, and that we really are all equals in a meaningful sense of it, when unto ourselves, and that meaningful differentiation only takes place in the vicinity of task-oriented objectives which sneakily ignore utilitarianism outright, and definitely ignore what’s good for the participants opting in to “win”. We do it to place people in various life paths and have a population that is effectively differentiated. But I digress. Simply realizing that this is it. This is eternity manifest…everything which happens here has happened…forevermore… the afterlife is still a thing, and perspective is always a trip…I live a million lives every week writing these sorts of entries and thinking these sorts of thoughts…very calmly… the universe’s efficiency/tact… and I sense that all of this feeling and meaning is but the surface of one microsecond of what lies beyond…and yet I am gorged. We were not far off in construing heaven as so hopelessly above and beautiful. It’s just that we put it off into the future…when it is, in fact, crucially, here and now.
