Riffin' On Self-Realization as, like, a Situation

“The endeavoring transcendentalists who are situated in self-realization can see all this clearly. But those whose minds are not developed and who are not situated in self-realization cannot see what is taking place, though they may try.” 15.11 Bhagavad Gita The Yoga of the Supreme Person

Have you ever like thought man, or like…realized…like if words are about things but don’t actually, directly touch the very things they are signifying, it’s like all of our ideas are never about like…the full, actual reality. It’s just a fractal of a fractal…there’s like a thin membrane of seeming disconnect…

Apparently, in the Oriental cosmology, reality, we are islands unto ourselves, indefinitely. The territory of the Self is the territory our Being is contained to. We are All, but most witting agents in the world haven’t been cultured to effectively realize as much/regard as much when we regard our Selfhood/identity. We’re told that doing nice things for others makes us feel nice but like… few people break it down to the level of “…helping others makes you feel good because you can physically feel their life blockages/gunk at some latent level within you and when you help them pivot towards their destiny effectively, you’ve also, too, in some meaningful way, as a member of the human community, fulfilled your nonpersonal destiny, as well. It isn’t your life story, entirely, but it’s a detail in it.”

It might seem like a weird way to describe what we’ve been experiencing as people day in and out, to see life in terms of a process of intelligent self-development orchestrated by the forces of the Cosmos, developing what is temporarily learned and regarded as human as actually Absolute, but it works incredibly well to see phenomena in such terms. If we turn to today’s passage for guidance on how one may go about trying to effectively do as much, we can see that it’s those who see the unfolding events of reality entirely in terms of “self-realization” who tend to “see all this clearly”.

Everyone is simply walking a path of self-realization. They’re looking for their personal center in all that they do, whether they are witting or unwitting of as much… they are trying to chase their destiny/true Self down. They have a value system they are sticking to, and some sort of vision as to how to doing as much leads to some sort of agency they have unconsciously been conditioned into seeking as they weather the throes of young adulthood…but few have a sincere vision that everything is ultimately about them, their development…their time in this world.

Because everyone is you, at some level, to make an earnest attempt to know their situation and see how you might be able to help…walk them home, per se…is always the most practical move you can do in life (if the economy doesn’t know how to profit off of it, they’ll learn…actually it’s the source of value in economies if you take a serious academic approach to the topic). It’s a social action, but it’s often times nearly taboo…easily unconventional as it’s based largely in transcendence, and can’t be confined to any one social role/is in the frameworks of all roles and frameworks… it’s in both the norms and the deviation of the norms, and you need to be able to do both and call each situation masterfully.

See this life in these terms, in terms of self-realization, and you’ll see “what is taking place”. One self (you) is realizing another self (Transcendental) in charting the territory of it’s very self (existence); as above so below, it’s the life lived conscientiously which fleshes out the miracle that is an intimate sense of the Absolute within the Individual…an effective and reliable, empowering sense. It’s a hat on a hat; and that’s the secret to profound sentences/oral performance/songwriting/artistic composition… a hat on a hat. If you can chart the territory of a hat on a hat well, you will be prosperous and love long time.

In regards to the notion that “minds” must be “developed” after one “situates” themself in the perspective that all unfolding events in the cosmos can be effectively seen as a process of “self-realization”, it’s clearer here moreso than anywhere else that “karma” is an utterly perfect framing for guiding effective behavior for the individual in a combination of it’s succinctness, and all-pervasiveness. When one’s “being” (which is also referred to as “karma”) is “self-realization”, one realizes one’s self…which is rewarded handsomely on behalf of universe as a specific pattern of behavior. When you do what you did, you get what you got…and following that sort of formula, if you know what exactly to be after which will cause the universe to shower you with positive phenomena via various feedback loops…you literally have (your) life figured out. And with Karma, it’s already implied that you’re also effectively doing it… you’re there already at that point.

To “situate” yourself in a worldview which is conducive for an appropriate and direct spiritual path to Source is to do an action which invites a series of phenomena into your life which will force you to spiritually actualize/traverse said path, and furthermore this as a way of living really is the only way that our hierarchy of needs/unconscious whims truly respect, fully… it’s the only methodical way…the lone path out of confusion/pain/anything less than bliss…

One “situates” themselves with mental attitudes/conjectures/worldviews/etc. and one walks the path of “development of the mind” at all moments in their life. The ultimate evolutionary point is Oneness with the rest of the Cosmos, and that isn’t a very far deviation from normal consciousness. To merely stay conscientious of as much as you traverse the social world and are bombarded with stimuli, conscious that all is in service to Life itself, that there’s a meaningful Oneness to it all that animates the very events unfolding… that’s it!

That’s the utter “development of the mind”. It’s a path of remembering and maintaining a peak event already instilled, a peak event the logic of which could be summed up in a single sentence (it ends up being stuff like “God is love” and like 98% of the time seeing the sentence literally doesn’t make us feel anything because it truly isn’t good enough to just say it…). The heavy lifting was a thing of the past… and often times seems as if it was never a thing at all…

And notice how it all flows out from the simple motion of choosing to see the world in terms of Self-realization… because we defined life comprehensively in terms of Self realizing Self, when it comes time for the mind to riff on the objects of perception, creating some sort of weird narrative about their interplay (because that’s usually where it gets weird…we all see objects and see them the same but what the object means to our perception of the social world varies drastically from another person’s opinion on the matter *cough* ATF *cough*) we see everything as deeply meaningful to us, we assume there’s some sort of something to be decoded in just about all things…some sort of script to be tapped into for the sake of chasing the goals we happen to be chasing… and suddenly we’ve hit the great simulation jackpot and life is actually working rather than being a random series of concerning or empty events.

My next project is to see the world in terms of Kevin Bacon. I’m wondering if it’ll be one of those false trail things where like obviously it’s not a healthy or balanced approach to perceiving reality, but it still like charts the territory of the heart of life in a shadowy way…in all of the things Kevin Bacon just can’t do for me as a point of reference I can see just what’s missing in my life…even the wayward path arrived at the same destination?

You see, because once you have the realization that it just works no matter what, you can’t stop it. But at one point in this game, I needed to situate myself in “self-realization”…for the sake of like my very survival, even. But just a short time later, I don’t even think that horse tranquilizers would be effective in un-situating me in perpetual self-realization…

Which is a thing. Like a mother doped up for surgery still mumbling weird motherly concerns regarding her children and what they have going on for the day…

Btw I’m pretty sure the phrase “fractal of a fractal”, as used in the first paragraph earlier, doesn’t make sense…

Self realizing self.
