Riffin' On's Vehicle of the Nation Address

“For those whose minds are attached to the unmanifested, impersonal feature of the Supreme, advancement is very troublesome. To make progress in that discipline is always difficult for those who are embodied.” 12.5 Bhagavad Gita Devotional Service

There’s really no getting around it- the implications of the very notion of Infinity, or perhaps the concept of God, even, are to be known. From certain vantage points it’s a bit of a trip, infinity existing within a constraint, an inevitability somehow containing it, but that’s really how it is in this thing we call existence; we expect the great mystery to be manifest, and meaningfully reducible at that; we, naturally, expect to game it to our advantage as Individuals, and it’s one of those things we pretend to be shocked by when we cross paths with it, but at some level we have been at least mildly cultured to expect to tussle with this at some point in our lives, probably because others realized that it’s been happening since time immemorial, with the Source of Life itself… with figuring out this thing we call life/planting our roots in this thing we call existence.

There’s some notion that this is an inescapable event horizon. It arises as we move through our personal processes of maturation in our respective lives. If we are truly moving forward, at some point we traverse through these gates/stumble upon these gatekeepers and in the flow of phenomena come to know things concerning our Celestial Source.

However, should one, rather artificially, at that, try to focus on the outright wrong aspects of “the Supreme”… perhaps a better term here would actually be Infinity…should they focus on the “unmanifest” and the “impersonal” elements contained somewhere deep within that conceptual territory, “to make progress” suddenly becomes “always difficult” for said individual.

This is the spiritual archetype of having your head buried in the sand…the individual who doesn’t put an incredible amount of stock into the pervasive feedback loops which surround them…a dud who’s utterly unresponsive to the universe/situations in front of them. They don’t see the world solely in terms of God, and as thus, as crazy zealous as this sounds, they literally go “blind” to layers of the simulation that could be deemed “optimal” or of upmost importance; they stop seeing the reality as it is- a utopian kingdom of God [or, at least, something to pay attention to]. They fall into less optimal, but probably still pretty damn good, mind states and project narratives onto reality which concede personal safeties and propagate personal frailties that they are not actually bound to.

You see, at some level they simply aren’t doing the mechanics of…God or God’s will. It can be reduced to such a simple framing; they aren’t doing anything wrong per se in the sense that they’re still figuring it out and they have socially protected rights regarding freedom of religious belief and speech, but they are doing something wrong at the level of universe, and we’re all reaping the consequences of it when it’s all said and done- we’re all in this together. We’re not debating whether or not these types are doing God right or wrong…we’re debating whether they are doing it wrong enough and causing enough social harm along the way to justify an unprecedented (events of progress often are) intervention on behalf of entities who may have enough social power to…induce progress in these individuals…

Sometimes they win. Sometimes, they lose, these ideology people who don’t see the immediate reality directly as the unfolding story of divinity. Periodically they have mental breakdowns and a litany of stereotypical (somehow) personal crises… they are the Joe Everyman.

I merely mean to convey that our social norms and traditions, even concepts such as the mid-life crisis… these things arose from some sort of underlying reality the masses needed help addressing. If you found somebody involved in this country who’s more my type of thinker, they’d sort of be chuckling right now and noting that I’m making a serious run on an objective that has always been central to them; spiritually actualizing the masses at a lower average age. As the life trajectories is set up at the moment…it happens. But we’re perpetually trying to make it happen sooner, and honestly this isn’t the kind of thing that need be kept away from the kids…it can happen before legal adulthood and flow parallel to the types of development (as in it is an epitome of these concepts) we expect at any age range… you don’t have to wait until full adulthood to essentially become enlightened.

Reality is kinda like an overgrown field y’know…it just sorta feeds its kids/grass. People who get twisted in this notion that God is more of an ideology than a perma-experience stop seeing Him in all things and then even slip into associating Him, as well as devotion to Him, with falsehoods, and these people really fail to see “the Supreme” in personal terms in the sense that they don’t perfectly see his personality in such a manner as they can mirror with their own, and so they naturally end up in entire oceans of thought concerning the God they are very much devoted to which are “mysterious” and paint anything but a methodical, no frills, salvation is everywhere at all moments waiting to be awakened with God magic that is as thus: a+b=c picture; they reap what they sow. They’re milking a half-dead cow.

To make progress in that discipline is always difficult for those who are embodied.”

These types tend to be concerned with the “unmanifest”. God is a very private idea, and they mostly experience it inside…it’s an esoteric enigma and who knows where on Earth there might be faint traces of It left…it’s certainly not everything surrounding us in our stupid inconsequential town right at this very moment…

If God was a dial measured in percentages…right now God is like at 5% because idk this is just some moment, some afternoon…but there will come a moment, sometime, man, out of the blue, into the black, where the horizon will carry two purple sons, Jupiter will align with Mars, and then the “God” will get dialed up to 100% …

Waiting on a miracle inside of material universe that is, in and of itself, literally a miracle by all scientific-minded definitions at all moments. It’s silly. And when it’s not silly, where people could be saved- they suffer horrendously and even outright lose their very lives. I don’t mean to sell fear however- I’m still of a camp that think once God’s grace is glimpsed numerically for what it is, these are rare occurrences but still we can literally see them on the news and in the numbers; homosexuals have died, are still dying, and are experiencing a litany of mental health maladies because of social hate.

Life is precious, inherently. The idea that you would be born gay in a universe which unilaterally punishes gay action would violate the notion that it’s precious. This isn’t a mystery. If it punishes gay action…maybe it would reward not acting on gay action, and that’s how life would stay inherently precious and things like suicide would unilaterally (and they really are) be wrong in some sense of it…but that isn’t what’s happening in our world. There are no real rewards, social even, for not acting upon homosexual urges responsibly.

And there are clearly rewards when two gay people do act on these urges. It’s undeniable. It shows up in all of the social sciences. You can measure it however you will…it’s good for the mind, good for the body, and good for the soul, and great for the society.

Life is precious. It stays precious when we treat impulses as originating from Divinity. That’s where everything went wrong for the Church in regards to mechanics; our impulses can get us into trouble, but this mostly happens when we are young adults and are learning about the world. Usually it’s better to act on these impulses at these ages and effectively learn how to live than it is to fear accruing sins on your soul.

You’re still not ever supposed to “sin” along the way…but until we get better at culturing our people into what is and is not a sin, the entire institution is nearly a waste. There’s no Satan, numnuts, there’s no Hell, and those impulses are coming from Heaven…still doesn’t mean you blindly act on them, but you definitely don’t turn an entirely blind eye towards them either. This is the same material the prophets were revered for working with; just plug in and listen to God, boner-kid.

Progress becomes challenging for these feedback loops aren’t divine-types relative to those who, in crude terms, see existence as a holyman incubator…something that brings out the best of people because it arose from and carries out the Love of the Eternal Source…

God isn’t an enigma. And conceptually… it can be presented simply, in the abstract, with secular philosophy in regards to the mechanics… and to do as much is always practical even if people don’t personally believe.

It turns out that secular Philosophy, when mastered, leads to natural insights regarding the potential existence of, as well as probable nature of, God. So like, the these academic disciplines we have…they all serve equilaterally, potentially. Every road of accumulated knowledge leads to this specific door…every path walked leads to this specific destination….

Nobody has came of age anywhere on any square inch of this thing without coming to certain milestones that are the true foundations/substance of our various communities. The social collective is only possible because reality itself was structured as such, and when dwelled upon conceptually, this is where it’s easiest to see that we really are in a simulation. There are mechanical things controlling the way we behave towards one another…at certain levels nearly everything comes down to determinism, and the actual material frameworks that are causing said determinism are wildddd. In the abstract it all simply comes down to spirit…to God’s will…but the execution is, as the kids say…radical.

But before we get lost in whatever it is at the level of unconscious that is sucking us in like a moth towards a flame (empowering notions inherently stimulate dreaming; this is how you raise kids, not prohibitions), this Infinite, badass thing we call life is taking place within a constraint; at the deepest levels of the simulation is the notion that this thing allows for the creation of new life forms, and the cultivation of meaningful resonance between them and the Source of Creation.

So before you dive in, just realize that the trip is merely trying to draw your love to the surface…that it’ll only ever truly want to push you towards becoming more like what you always were supposed to become…in the image of your maker…and then play it by feel; that’d be my advice.

Notice, just rapid fire; they chose to believe in a Devil. And then, they choose to believe in a Hell. It’s their right…you gotta respect their rights!

But before too long, they’re outright going against natural types of people/sexuality… when they opted in to the idea of Hell, they opened a social door to validating crazy and archaic forms of hate. And then before too long, they were outright carrying out campaigns of hate and ignorance against the Homosexuals…

Stupid is what stupid does? Is that the meaning of that Zen riddle? Opt in to the Devil…become corrupted by outright evil a short-time later and responsible for some deeply dark stuff that is out there in the world?

They reaped what they sowed. When does the cycle end?

Fyi- I smoke weed. These people are acting like I can't handle weed responsibly (I wrote this high btw). How ironic...I think they do more harm with the Bible, which is the word of God incarnate, than I could ever do in 7-9 decades of puffing the cheba...

In regards to the Pope’s most recent statement, at least you’re trying to walk back social hate against homosexuals. And that I dig. But to still double down on it being a “sin” when it isn’t if anything only serves as a reminder of the world the God boss has axed like 85% of- just a few decades ago everything was drastically different.

The results of this one were manifest just that long ago. It is what it is. And it’s glorious, at that.

The change I'm petitioning you for is the fundamental truth of reality and has been for decades. What’s changing are social narratives while entrenched and archaic patterns of hate are being purged from worldly institutions. We are inevitable; my entire argument was about optimizing in the now by creating resonance between social action and universal will… I just sorta left that unsaid in the subtext.

It was a song of many turns as it intersected with the personal lives of those who performed it, but at least one vantage point offered in Queen’s The Show Must Go On was fed along these lines…

Speaking of turns of phrase, I really do just love the notion that you would call homosexual acts “intrinsically disordered”. Is that the undoing of the Church’s reputation in there? Is that why these acts are intrinsically disordered- they’re bringing down the house, aren’t they?

I’ll raise you one- homosexual acts always have been, and are now particularly, acts of God.

We’re all just equals in the end. Few of us think that we’ll see that play out in this life…I think it’s been playing out day in and day out for someee time. I think I actually saw what was really going on, and I’m of a camp of people who legitimately laid it at your door. I’m thinking that no matter what you do, we’ve taken and are refining the charge we have taken. I always imagined that this is the real power of the Holy Spirit, and that virtually no one can stop it is comforting. Gravity…it rides everything.

No, seriously every major and recurring political talking point and issue in America is touched by this. It's a vehicle that has a presence in everything...this is what we call a jackpot.
