Riffin' On's Practical Approach to Mysticism as Way of Life

“And yet everything that is created does not rest in Me. Behold My mystic opulence! Although I am the maintainer of all living entities and although I am everywhere, I am not a part of this cosmic manifestation, for My Self is the very source of creation.” 9.5 Bhagavad Gita The Most Confidential Knowledge

So sayeth the enlightened Yogi is regards to acting with impeccability/without accruing material bondage…

Except that isn’t fully their reality, ever…moreso a supremely advantageous starting point. Such is the perspective of the Godhead and the Godhead alone, and when faced with it the Yogi knows precisely the role they are to play, they being in a unique position to be able to tune into the Godhead reliably and effectively…

((I offer this as the template for moral/effective living: I turn to the Godhead for their perspective, and from there I know what I am to do, in service to the Godhead))

Although Krishna, an emanation of the Infinite Source, the Father God, is the “maintainer” of “all living entities” and although he is “everywhere” doing precisely as much, creating a situation we come to know as “reality” or, at the very least, “experiences”, He is not clearly a thing in and of itself within this reality of His construction that we are experiencing (because he’s the whole pie and we haven’t been cultured/habituated into seeking this effectively with our perceptions or conceptions; culturally, as a discipline, we don’t know how to see God…but the Hare Krishnas do), and so it is clearly quite easy for limited beings within these constructs to miss the point. They see what is immediately in front of their faces, and they use these things as the vehicles by which they attempt to manage/maintain their lives.

Which, the things surrounding you, really are, at some level, the vehicles by which you manage/maintain your life… but philosophically we have come to know that this only happens reliably when the specifics of phenomena itself are dedicated as a means to the end that is the spiritual mission…when one comprehensively dedicates their entire reality to God and his intentions…which, it turns out, is all the reality ever actually was in the first place in regards to aloof/mechanistic views of the material universe.

It’s in this fashion that individuals move out of ignorance manifesting at the level of “ego” or the “psyche” and into proper cosmological posturing (enlightenment). They evolve on the spot, physically, and the entirety of their Being becomes all the more miraculous…they’re a different kind of machine, and they shape a different kind of world in their midst. Awakening/enlightenment is contagious… it’s the new flu.

So yes, the Yogi can quickly realize from today’s passage what is going “wrong” out there in a monolithic and pervasive way. People fail to realize that God is the maintainer of all living entities and that this maintenance is what allows for reality to manifest. There are pathological clues in what manifested in reality in regards to what allows suffering to manifest within that. There are clear methods and clear bread crumb trails leading back to clear root causes, and clear methods of response on behalf of what has historically been called the “shaman” or “medicine man” or “healer” or “priest”.

People know that God is the maintainer of all living entities and that this leads to the emergence of reality, and they fail to know it effectively. These situations happen, and often at that. Still though, these situations rarely are ever dire, and that’s the difference.

They know that there’s a cake in the oven…

So the Yogis show up and they lay wire for the telephone services. They teach that God is in all at all moments trying to reaching You… and they teach effective living as the effective maintenance of your personal line with God…do you believe in your senses and what they convey to you, do you believe that the feedback loops in your life are fitting vehicles for divine communion/curriculum, do you believe that your life is it, is your life actually it, have you merged effectively with Source/Destiny and had it make a run on your comprehensive Being/your entire World?

Do you hand your life over entirely to Universe?

Turns out it doesn’t ask any changes in your social situation or your day to day life and the notion that it inherently would is nearly tyrannical/rude to the people who depend on you. This transcends any deterrents…there’s no potential for distraction…no potential for getting knocked “off” of the path… there is only absolution. Solidarity. Completeness, in spite of what transpires in the affairs of mankind.

The Enlightened are realistically asked to be impeccable, but humans aren’t hardwired to not make mistakes/act consistently 24/7… if you hand everything over to Universe, all of sudden it seems more feasible that things would actually have your back more often when such support is needed, relative to a conception in which the universe is cold and random…this is probably the “fittest” way to live, trusting in Universe…

And as long as you aren’t like a Wook wooking it up or anything…

Although they are men...they have become...birds of war...

Just the same, the role that is...the "Supreme"...or "God" becomes synonymous with conceptions like...the "redeemer"... the "medicine man"...the "healer"...

The Yogi...is where the Transcendent enters the frame as a specific "role" or "lot" in society and there are parallels roles in non-Yogic cultures...

But the ultimate realization is that all roles and lots really yield to it...it is the Singular role... God is salvation in that sense. And to be God is really the only way to be saved.
