Riffin' On's Patented Formula for Embodying Spiritual Consorts in Effective and Aesthetically Badass Forms

“My dear Arjuna, only by undivided devotional service can I be understood as I am, standing before you, and can thus be seen directly. Only in this way can you enter into the mysteries of My understanding.” 11.54 Bhagavad Gita The Universal Form

The Bhagavad Gita as it is… frankly that’s the methodology right there, approaching the world from a conceptual-ideological posturing which captures the reality of reality as it is. The “it” is the Universal form…the definition of God which is absolute and sees the dominion of God’s determinism as absolute, and frankly one of the greater “mysteries” of Krishna’s (“My”) “understanding” is how we can have systemically, methodically chartered the comprehensive territory of what one needs to do to be able to literally “see” God, captured it within an academic discipline championed by many a great thinker and championed under many a great name (as in, this is not confined to a single discipline…transcendentalism…spirituality…effective self-actualization within the territory of psychology…these are all the same…) and somehow have gone so far as to make this the function/objective of most induced social difficulties we’ll ever encounter within our society…and still there is a pervasive sense that God is dead…a sense that there’s no method for reliably achieving practical communion with the powers reserved solely for the name that is God…that God is, by some higher nature, elusive and fleeting to humans, mostly, if not entirely so…

To understand God “as He is” (“as I am”), one needs to cultivate the initially baffling perspective that the very matrix at hand, the very individuated world of potentially dualistic forces which surrounds us, is God, incarnate, providing “undivided devotional service”. It’s through resonance, through yourself leaning into your very perceptions themselves as great acts of universal orientation driven entirely by spiritual forces, which is a form of deep spiritual surrender as it sees you in a state of unwitting rest as a sort of unwitting force of labor on behalf of a messianic and loving universe, that you can see God. It’s through going all in deeply, to the very level of considering individuated others as offshoots of your very self…of your very identity…that you, quite naturally, begin to infringe on the territory reserved exclusively for the Inter-being…the Over-soul…what has historically been called the holy spirit…that which is in all and is the form of messianic, divine intervention.

The Christ. Christians feed it by being Christians. Or by subverting the Church in the name of Christian teachings/values.

This is basic Oriental spirituality…the surrendering of the personal identity for an identity in God, and in coming to do so…effectively reclaiming your personal destiny. We of the West know our priests do it and think they’ve been kind of weird/cultish about it… we’re at a day and age the population is ready to move in on it in a larger way…and such was always the trajectory of the church/Western religion…

When One choses to see all in terms of Love, Supreme…going so far as to claim that Love, Supreme somehow owns every square inch of their individuated identity without eclipsing their will/autonomy in a meaningful way…they get to the place physically in which personal witness of the embodied Transcendent becomes not only possible…but probable for the sake of personal, spiritual efficacy. The priests and yogis do it (some of them). They can “see” that which is everywhere in a very practical way…that’s an emanation/level of emanation only for those who seek it. It’s one of the major benefits of a spiritual life…this stuff is real, and it pays out, in rather mundane ways…

The tone of it shouldn’t be the super rare and austere practice of seeing God as cultivated by this anomaly freak of nature…the tone of it should be…when you pray conscientiously across time, you develop a daily and practical relationship with the supernatural…every time…

It’s through the approach of the absolute…that you get to see the fruit…the emanated Messianic form… you can see that which animates individuated beings to act in a Messianic fashion, whether that be from a place of love (rarely… unless you roll with moms 24/7…very not busy moms who are no longer stressed and are living in affluence…) or like a place of duty…from a place of BF Skinner-esque conditioning that will unfortunately wear off too soon… however it happens, it happens. You see all in terms of God, the suffering and the grace, so you can see a really universe-affirming manifestation of the grace which inspires you to resonate personally with it so that grace, and definitely not suffering, can be the foundation of your Earthly existence…

Or you actually only get around to seeking it, moreso, when you are already done suffering yourself and would like to end it in others. It’s a bit insane to seek God incarnate, although quite natural, because you are seeking moderate alleviation to some issue you’re facing in life…we get cultured out of doing as much.

Where people return to it whole-heartedly is once they’ve discovered that suffering can be stomped down comprehensively, and that they have an obligation to help as much happen for others. Which is fitting for the times…we are a very enlightened, very much educated, very much compassionate culture. For the Americans, especially, you’d imagine that God should be a vehicle…a vehicle for Salvation…more than he is a Savior.

That’s also the reality of the demons we’re facing. Many of them are not our own. That narrative…is more real than one which sees individuals as children in the lap of God. Oh to be a child…to not be bound to a very particular set of actions that the survival of outright individuals is stiched to…

The seeking births new hope. The heart grows tender so automatic…
