Riffin' On Radical Innocence/Love

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:12

We are unto each other, whole. Historically, culturally, “hol-istic” culture has been an extension of this universally orienting truth…we strive conscientiously to live in accord with each and everything which surrounds us with the conviction that the entirety of creation amounts to the Being that is culturally regarded as Most High/Holding true dominion over our lives by way the quality of our subjective experience at any given moment…amounting to assured well-being by doing as much. It’s a non-denominational form of devotion that hopelessly flows seamlessly into every aspect of our lives.

Obviously, if one were to take a look at a globe, the East is literally as far from the West as something can be. Devoid of further cultural context…just as abstracts, their differentiation is absolutely meaningless, as all differentiations are. These paradigms/specifics are tools, thought stuff by which to manifest certain realities interpersonally as well as internally, and this institution didn’t really exist in primitive man until they were gathered into collectives and faced with problems…this is the stuff of forced development if we regard the universe as sentient and being orchestrated by an impeccable wisdom akin the Western idea of God the Father…forced to think…and once thought stuffs are developed…somehow forced to refine them down to an actionable vision of morality/righteousness/fate/God’s will… this is the path we walk.

In regards to people, which is largely where the entire territory of “transgressions” resides in the first place (we are learning to live with each other’s pain as we all respectively learn how to free each other effectively from it…sin is usually a response to traumas cycling interpersonally, which creates more traumas…) East is not separate from West. All of that space on the map…even if the governments strictly enact closed borders under the pretenses that we are only unto our people… if some rat faced fink lops his lasagna at your car as you drive past this week, nothing we can do short of doing exactly what we need to do can eclipse the chance that you cause a tsunami on the other side of the planet…

Now…how effective are disasters at creating meaningful spiritual awakening? Unless you’re kissed by the ocean spray, which, by the way, as someone who on paper has always been in a comfortable place relatively in life, I have experienced this personally an inordinate amount of times, and think that almost every one I know has, so it must be a persistently recurring thing that culturally we don’t regard a ton/talk about frankly…. But yeah, unless you’re kissed by the ocean spray just so…these things are lousy through and through. They’re disasters.

Tangents aside, we are unto each other. And that is why “transgressions” truly run so deep…they’re an incremental bit of that fatigue we all have to work through on occasion…they truly don’t just flitter away…the God that sanitizes at all moments does so through synchronicity…through brotherhood…it’s unwitting how deep it runs to almost every one… how wired in we all really are and how even the most free amongst us can’t get out much further ahead than anybody else… because this is so, and because there isn’t some sort of secondary loop that just magically and inexplicably saves us persistently…we have the power as Mankind to hold dominion over existence by way of effective devotion to God. We are already One with Him, and spirituality/religion is about effectively, in a disciplined manner, awakening to such oneness…but it feels like cultivating it, in all sincerity.

There’s nowhere else, by the way. Eternity is now. It is present. These transgressions are things…they still have energy…and there’s nowhere to simply dump them. What can He “remove” from us. A better reading of this Psalm appears to  be “I can assess how meaningful ‘transgressions’ are to an individual’s life based on how far said individual considers the East to be from the West, really.”

This is radical innocence. We have it at all moments, and there's nothing available to Mankind by way of action that isn't washed clean immediately at some meaningful level. We are a family, humanity.
