Riffin' On the Global Vision

It’s no secret that life, merely in that it exists, is an incredibly precious thing. As we mature and cross the threshold of youth into young adulthood we see enough of the world to understand the myriad of ways in which this whole existence thing all could’ve gone horribly, horribly wrong. What often escapes us is the certainty that it’ll always go right, that there’ll be a baseline quality of life provided no matter the context we face in the social world/throughout human history, and that such a service is provided by the very constraints the Universe puts on itself/that God puts upon the affairs of Beings.

I can remember as a child in elementary school how much I struggled with the notion that people in the past had it unbelievably difficult. I think that we were told that at some historical age we were studying that the life expectancy for individuals was as low as one’s 30’s…and I was filled with a terror that really wasn’t entirely mine…wondering how utterly bad that all must’ve been…not understanding that those people had lives. I was envisioning people lying in mud puddles, skin perpetually flaking and raw from the elements, just kinda sore and perpetually puffed up and covered in grit, never knowing the pleasures of a Capri Sun…

I didn’t see them as intelligent. I didn’t see them as people who ever had been graced by the presence of the divine in their lives as individuals. I didn’t see them…as human.

I didn’t see them.

And it disturbed me at some level, because I also didn’t see history either, and that was the very context I was being presented any of this under…the idea of understanding what has happened in history.

It wasn’t until I studied the Transcendental Sciences in the Bhagavad Gita and came to see God as the Source of Civilization both in the abstract and in the historical… that I really got a sense that I was beginning to actually study human history…that I was standing on solid ground, foundationally, to begin such a pursuit. Because, as weird as it is, life is a story about individuals…and the lives of those individuals for all intensive purposes can be seen as a dialogue between them and their creator…a dialogue that is perpetually happening. Society/civilization/culture are tools that arise in live time with the intention of helping the individual actualize in some meaningful sense of the term.

Somehow, it works if you work it. And that this is so is a service provided on behalf of the Universe, and it ensures that, quantitatively, life trends positive/is worth living. This baseline quality of life that is just inherent, most of the time, or all of the time depending on your perspective/level of consciousness, in existence itself 1) is a definition of God/his Messianic intervention in the affairs of Man and 2) has been constant throughout human history. In this way, life/righteousness becomes about actualizing to the moment (complying to God’s will= salvation)…in this way we can understand how the lives of individuals in a society that only had a life expectancy of 38 was entirely equal to ours in many ways… and we can also understand quite clearly why their cultural modalities would be starkly different to ours.

We can understand how shit societies had individuals who had lives comparable to ours…and how the bane of those lives was the shit society, as well as how they were tasked with cleaning it up…

Every individual has lived the same kind of life, at some level. A fair one. A good one. An unbelievably shitty one that we develop a sense of humor within as a survival mechanism.

Every social group, whether its this religion or that, this nation or that tribe…has been favored by God against the elements. Every faction has been chosen (the faction is a tool to help the individuals self-actualize). Every one truly does have their God-given destiny. Every one has their place and their intended story. And truly, when we start to see where they intersect, the factions and their stories, the intended plan is peace for individuals the world over, the nation-state structure being a structure by which this can become possible in a sustainable fashion that increases the prospects of survival for the coming generations…

More than at any other time in human civilization, here in 2022, are we close to making a serious run on such a goal…comprehensive and lasting peace. The reason has to do with the peculiarity of our situation- social and technological opulence. When we look to our day and age and start to wonder what self-actualization is looking like in 2022, we see that now more than ever are different cultural modalities being thrown into dialogue with others… because of advances in technology the world over.

Individuals are joining Facebook groups with international membership… you no longer have to go visit and institution/venture to find out what they are all about- you can pop onto a web browser and get an exhausting amount of data about any institution in question… we live in a day and age in which gatekeepers which used to previously exist do no longer. Now more than ever is the social faction and a deliberate membership within an expression of one’s self-image, their identity, moreso than it is an opportunity for personal advancement/enlightenment/induced self-actualization; we are using these things as vehicles in 2022 moreso than the things (social factions) using the worker ants as vehicles to accomplish social ends…at least here in America, and it’s because of sustained social progress/success across time. Personal liberty and its prospects have increased.

2022 is very much an era of conscientious inter-relatedness. The etiquette and norms of our society is increasingly seeing our people in contact with groups they’ve never directly been in contact with, historically. The whole trip begs a recognition of equanimity…equanimity between forms of culture as well as the lives of individuals. We need to recover from socially embedded notions birthed during the war-stricken 20th century which downplayed the common nature of humanity as a whole, and also too we need to cultivate a realistic and pragmatic, digestible vision of peace for the global stage, a framework individuals feel like they can contribute to as they make the decisions in their lives day in and day out.

As a concept, the idea of God is the only thing that can accomplish these ends in an utterly comprehensive way. There are secular framings that can nearly capture it, but they just the tiniest little bit out…

If 2022 is the era of Globalism rather than Nationalism, per se, then self-actualization in 2022 entails a vision that God is comprehensively running the globe with equal love for all Beings. Which is beyond exciting…because it wasn’t until technology evolved until suddenly the game we were playing was pertaining to the entire population upon the planet. This is the first time in history that things have ever been here…and this is a very advantageous place to be. We’re telling a Human story now moreso than an American Story… We’re finally dealing with the whole lot.

Which means that now more than ever...peace is looking inevitable and sustainable across time.

Which, we've always known that peace is the only sustainable way of life...so this reality comments upon a difference in the affairs of Mankind moreso than the ways of the world.

We live in an era in which we are consuming the entity itself moreso than their products...
