Riffin' On Proper Fetal Position Posturing

“Thus perplexed by various anxieties and bound by a network of illusions, they become too strongly attached to sense enjoyment and fall down into hell.” 16:16 Bhagavad Gita The Divine and Demoniac Natures

When one (Brahman) lacks a sense that the karmic fruit of activity, that the fruit of fruitful activity, that is, is an immediate experience of the Eternal by way of Transcendental Oneness/Communion, they have a tendency to be “bewildered” by “sense enjoyment/experience”, by “anxieties” which themselves reinforce the very “network of illusions” they were probably constructed to elucidate/demolish…such a person, assuredly, “falls down into hell”. Speaking as a man of the culture, of some life experience, this man, most assuredly, is young. This is the chaos of young adulthood as a psychological mechanism, fallacious worldview being challenged by a spontaneous flow of circumstance that was constructed by a sentient and omnipotent Source that, Itself, is the very phenomenon composed and then induced upon us. Suffering is a facet of its work.

It should be said, that, ultimately, most regard hell as a cultural myth about a transitive state of suffering. Hell is the antithesis of the eternal… some go so far as to define it as everything that’s still on its way, but as an experience, an experience of being “in hell”, such thoroughness doesn’t seem appropriate when juxtaposed against the cultural usage of the phrase. To be “in hell” is to be somewhere temporary…although it may feel eternal. It bewilders our better sense, against our accumulated wisdom, into asserting as much. To be “in hell” is to be alone, which is the ultimate delusion in regards to therapeutics… in regards to coaching ourselves out of this.

The “demoniac” nature alluded to in this chapter’s title is a subset of the Divine nature. Suffering is grace. Death is eternal life. The delusion created by the “network of illusions” we inherit by our cultural upbringing, which should be better but somehow isn’t, yet somehow is also really admirable, deserving allegiance, is the ground which allows for the demoniac nature to spring forth, it’s a transitive thing, and suffering is meant to shock one out of suffering after the fact, forevermore, more than it is to reinforce the very patterns of suffering/root delusions…digging a trench which inevitably flows out into our mortal death…it still happens. It shouldn’t, but it does.

If we could realize in the face of suffering that suffering will fold to an acute sense of the Imminent Source of suffering, an understanding of His/Her/suffering’s Nature (unconditional love for all Beings), as well as an appropriate respect for said Source’s Dominion (laws of nature/sensibility)…transferring said dominion effectively to us by way of meaningful resonance...the change which needs to happen culturally, and is happening, will happen not only at an accelerated rate, but will happen along the lines of recreation/pleasure/following one’s bliss.
